Fault Seal Triangle allows you to conduct simple, fast and efficient fault seal analysis using any
well within your
Petrel project. Test the seal capacity of a bounding fault within a given throw range by assessing
if
a) there are effective juxtaposition seals present and b) whether viable hydrocarbon columns can be
supported
where the reservoir is not juxtaposed against an impermeable layer.
Installation Instructions:
The downloaded ZIP contains the plugin for all supported platforms. Both the (recommended) Petrel
"PIP" based install and conventional (MSI) installers are
available.
The PIP file may be installed in Petrel by opening the "Ocean Plugin Manager" from the
Petrel "Help" menu and clicking the "Install plugin" button. This will prompt
for a PIP file to install. Alternatively, the plugin may be installed by executing the associated
MSI installer whilst Petrel
is NOT running.
Please note that any previous versions of the Petrel plugin must be uninstalled first, either from
the plugin manager in Petrel (PIP based) or via "Programs and Features" in Windows(MSI
installer based)
